• No unsolicited direct messages for marketplace activity.
• Report phishing attempts to moderators immediately.

2. Communication Standards

• Use PGP for sensitive communications.
• Verify all addresses before connecting to external services.
• Keep marketplace discussions in designated boards only.

3. Account & Access

• No selling invites — violations result in immediate ban.
• One account per person. Alt accounts will be banned.
• Two-factor authentication strongly recommended.

4. Content Policy

• No illegal content of any kind.
• No spam or unsolicited advertising.
• Tag NSFW content appropriately.

Violations will result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity. Contact u/lantern_staff for account issues.

• Tor Browser: Always access The Lantern through Tor for maximum privacy.
• PGP Encryption: Use PGP for any sensitive communications. Never send plaintext credentials.
• Unique Credentials: Use a unique password for your Lantern account. Never reuse clearnet passwords.
• 2FA: Enable two-factor authentication in your account settings.
• Session Management: Log out after each session. Clear cookies regularly.
• Address Verification: Always verify .onion addresses through signed messages before connecting.
• Phishing Awareness: Be cautious of unsolicited DMs asking for credentials or personal information.

If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact u/lantern_staff.
